About SupplementReviews
Plain-English supplement guides for adults over 50, with every study linked.
SupplementReviews is published by Gold Seal Supplements, the company that makes Magnesium Complete and Astaxanthin. We say that on every page because it matters: when we recommend our own products, we earn money if you buy them.
How we research
Our guides are written by the Gold Seal Nutrition Team. We use AI research tools to find and read the human trials on PubMed, then check every number against the original paper. We look for three things: the form of magnesium, the dose that was actually studied, and who was studied. Then we compare that with what's in the bottle.
- Every health claim links to its source.
- We include real complaints, including complaints about us.
- We update pages when formulas, prices or research change.
